Evidence, a course, and a credential — free for everyone
SereniSleep's results are open and reusable. Whether you want the hard data, the ready-to-teach materials or the recognised certificate, everything below is free and published for the wider adult-education community.
- 133
- educators & learners surveyed across 4 countries
- 40.9%
- of learners sleep 6 hours or fewer per night
- 57%
- of learners are motivated to improve their sleep
What the research told us
Five findings shaped the whole programme:
- Sleep deprivation is real, prevalent and undocumented in adult education — poor sleep quality averaged 2.53/5 and 76% of learners sleep under 7 hours.
- No partner country has a dedicated sleep-health policy for adult-education settings.
- The appetite for intervention is strong but unmet — 75% of educators want practical tools; 100% were open to reviewing SereniSleep materials.
- The key risk factors are actionable — evening screen use (4.19/5), caffeine (64.5%), irregular napping and low physical activity.
- Cultural adaptation is non-negotiable — migrant women in Spain, stigma in Serbia, rural-digital access in Bulgaria all demand tailored content.
